Dozens of people flocked to a sold-out event highlighting vital work being undertaken locally to assist those affected by dementia.

As well as providing different types of home care services to the areas of Bromley, Orpington & Beckenham, local Radfield Home Care Directors, Simi Ghuman & Chanice Baugh have joined with Quest Soul Theatre to offer a one-of-a-kind café experience to you.

Our indoor street party at Crofton Halls welcomed 125 people from across the borough. Our guests were from local dementia cafes, guests of organisations and carers who work with people who are living with dementia, carers, friends, neighbours, volunteers and some of our members who attend our Dementia Friendly classes.

This year’s National Dementia Action Week (13th – 19th May) saw lots of events and activities happening in and around Bromley. Here, Co-Chair Nikki Fishman reports on some of the week’s highlights.

The Bromley Dementia Friendly Community is thrilled to launch its new website. We now have a home online, so that people can find out more about us and how we support the Bromley dementia community.

The Bromley Dementia Friendly Community were delighted to offer a free space for Nicole Shilling, the Manager of the Saxon Centre, to attend the 2024 Alzheimer’s Annual Conference.
