The Bromley Dementia Friendly Community is thrilled to launch its new website. We now have a home online, so that people can find out more about us and how we support the Bromley dementia community.
As well as information about what we do and how we help, the website is a hub of information for carers and resources for anyone affected by or interested in dementia.
We also have event listings for regular and one-off events throughout the Bromley borough and a directory of our partner organisations.
Nikki Fishman, Bromley Dementia Friendly Community Co-Chair, said:
We are delighted to finally launch our own website! The Bromley Dementia Friendly Community is run by volunteers and it’s our mission to improve the quality of life for people in Bromley and their carers.
Our new website will help us to communicate the support available locally and nationally, as well as raise awareness of how small changes can make a big difference to those living with dementia. We now have the information all in one place and look forward to sharing events, resources and attracting more partner organisations through it.
Having been busy out and about in the borough, it was evident how much this new website is needed for our dementia community. I came across Bromley residents who hadn’t even heard of the official Bromley Dementia Support Hub – this should really help with this.
With thanks to White Heat Design for designing, creating and building the fabulous website and Jane Rogers, The Word Wizard, for working her magic on our words.
